I coach individuals, couples, and polycules looking to strengthen relational dynamics, explore sexuality, pleasure, and attachment and sexual wounds. I use a trauma-informed, sex positive, kink positive approach to our work. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and sex-worker affirming.

About Lucy Breidenthal, MA, MFT
I believe that every body is sacred and deserves to be seen, heard, and known deeply. I am particularly passionate about sex therapy at every stage of life, and I am a fierce advocate for body diversity, fat acceptance, sex positivity, and affirming therapeutic interventions for all genders, sexualities, and partnership structures.
Creating therapeutic environments that are nonjudgemental, warm, restorative, adventurous, and nurturing are critical elements of my treatment style. I am oriented in culturally-attuned family systems theory, and especially rooted in cross-cultural, feminist, psychodynamic, narrative, emotionally-focused, cognitive-behavioral, and contextual approaches.
I am a therapist-in-training with 500 clinical hours completed. I am currently working toward licensure to be a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have worked as an intern therapist at North Brooklyn Marriage and Family Therapy and hold’s an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University (2025) and an M.A. in Women’s, Gender, & Sexuality Studies from University of Cincinnati (2013.)
